 Organic Nursery

My organic, tropical fruit tree nursery, central to Govardhan Gardens, is focused on providing you the widest possible selection of fruit trees that grow on the island - including many exotic and hard-to-find specimens at affordable prices. I don't employ any shortcuts to create beautiful, healthy trees. I am always available personally to offer any advice and information about tropical fruits. I'm not a profit-minded plant factory, and my project is primarily educational: I do this work because I love it.

Again, all prices above are for the smallest available size (usually about one year old). Most trees are in larger sizes.

I am mostly propagating fruit trees but I do occasionally also have rare palms and ornamental or shade trees. Some of the rare fruit trees are not listed on the site, so please inquire if you are looking for rare tropical fruit trees that are not listed.

Although I like to spread tropical fruit seedlings, I urge mail-order customers to take special care of their new trees, as shipping is stressful for them (some are more sensitive than others). I mainly offer this service in case some trees are unavailable locally to customers. If you want to place an order, please contact me by e-mail before, so that I can confirm whether the trees are available. All trees are sent bare rooted, the roots are treated against nematodes and wrapped in a sterile medium.

Important: Once you receive the trees, please make sure that they stay in the shade until they are strong enough to receive direct sun light; plant them at first in very light potting soil and keep them moist. Many tropical seedlings need various degrees of shade for the first year. Please don't hesitate to ask for advice. Please include $9 per tree for shipping/handling.  Minimum order 3 trees.
